Several sites over the past few days have been quoting Game Stop’s CFM news sighting. It’s the first news we’ve seen so far, but hey – it is news!
Interact and build your team with more control in Game Prep all-new to CFM. Want to develop your backup QB? Between matchups, spend extra time on him each week to earn training points without having to force him into the real games before he is ready. Also new in CFM is the Confidence rating system. Build your teams’ confidence through performance and front office transactions. Balance keeping player’s confidence up, to increase abilities and build player XP.
http://www.gamestop.com/ps4/games/madden-nfl-15/113712 I’m pretty interested in the idea of Game Prep, as long as it is something that is useful and not neutered like so many new CFM features of the past. M25’s ability to play with a custom playbook was awesome and something I really enjoyed, but they killed it when they didn’t make it so you could actually use that playbook in practice mode with your team. It’s silly oversight’s like this that constantly have the Madden community shaking their heads. My guess is, this Game Prep is connected to the new Gauntlet mode http://leaguecrawler.com/content/madden-15-cfm-news they said would be in CFM in one way or another. I’m thinking Game Prep will include some selection of these Gauntlet mode mini games and gain more XP for a given player. While that sounds cool, it’s a bit frustrating since, like so many other features in the game, Madden has had this before and taken it out, only to (potentially) revive it and tout it as “All New”. I’m not sure what to make of the confidence meter/guage – it sounds like it’s just another meter that you’ll need to keep an eye on in Owner mode to keep the fans happy. While it could have some impact on FAs probably, I doubt it’s really that big of a deal in reality. I’m looking for news on Commish Features requested – Ability to pick a winner, roster control, reset a game, etc. What do you guys think?
